Misery

I send my joy to Misery,
Who has much less than I.
She lives inside a gloomy world
And always seems to cry.
But in a way
I have to say,
That’s just her brighter side.
Lightning’s always next to her,
Her perfect day is rain.
I know that she may fear the day
When the sun comes back again.
Even though she has her days
Filled with dark bad luck
And getting hit with lightning sucks
I feel like she may be happy,
Just on the inside.
And that’s maybe it’s just hard to see
Through the tears she’s cried.
